Location and Facilities

All areas of the country could facilitate a Cocoon Club project and we anticipate there will eventually be demand from all over Great Britain. Initially the focus will concentrate on areas in Dorset, Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and Mid Wales.  Priority will be given to the quality and size of the site, its potential for development and its ability to accommodate the required properties and facilities that need to be included.

Eco-friendly, sustainable living specifically designed for a group of like minded over 50’s

Consideration will be given to the numbers and types of properties that can be built on the site and the requirements of potential residents. As well as the aesthetics of the construction the vision will be focused around the DREAM of eco-friendly, sustainable living specifically designed for a group of like minded over 50’s.  There needs will undoubtedly be diverse however in the early stages of development we will collect as much information as possible about people’s specific needs, as far as living area, garden size, eco-friendly facilities and general services available on the development.

We must also consider whether we are also attempting to make this a specialised development concerned with the future of eco/.sustainable living and whether we should be including facilities that will allow us to hold seminars, small conferences and other facilities regarding the promotion of other similar developments around the country.

Whilst the idea of a Cocoon Club development is the end result, I am sure there are many, many thousands of people that would like to be involved in the discussion and design of this ideal development even though is some cases they will never actually be involved in the end result.
